WHILE THE GRAY STAIN WAS OUT..
I have always loved to do things myself. I have been blessed with abilities and a willingness to learn. That is what it’s about isn’t it ? —LEARNING
So recently as you may have seen my reference on the Pallet Wood story, I decided to make some signs. Rustic home made signs.
I dis-assembled the pallets and took some similar size and appearance boards and set them aside. When I found time, I laid out some and looked to the backside and the front to plan how to assemble. Then with my brad nailer I attached a couple of cross braces on the rear to attach the parts into one whole part.
The sizes were dictated by the boards, but yes, I did some cutting to make everyone agreeable. Then I took to some of the edges with a sander, not all the edges, though.
When I had a little touchup to do on my decks, I took the liberty to make a few signs gray like the stain I had out. Sometimes we use what is readily available, right. The others I used a white enamel. You can see, I rolled it on without paying attention to perfect coverage and getting to every edge.
My wife has the artist’s touch and was glad to help with the lettering. I will need to get into this myself sooner or later. There is all kinds of info on this if you just look, as well as programs to allow you to print out your letters and trace them on to your sign. No limit on what can be done.

NICE SOUTHERN THOUGHT

THIS ONE’S ON MY SHED
So I now have a sure idea of what I may do in the future as time allows for an income producing hobby. And now you know how simply you can do the same.
I welcome your comments.
